Woven Slowly, Made with Care
The story of how a love for handloom became a studio that works hand in hand with weavers across India.
Fabric is chosen before the garment is imagined
Threads & Craft began with a simple question: what if we started with the cloth instead of the sketch? We travelled to weaving clusters in Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh and met the families who still work at the loom every day.
Today we buy directly from those weavers, work with village women on hand embroidery, and stitch every piece to order. No machines, no screen prints, and no shortcuts.
